    Survey of selected contemporary topics in plant genetics and genomics. Topics include the nature of genes and genomes, crop domestication, selection, allelic diversity in populations, and genetics mapping. Serves as an introduction to functional genomics, population genetics, transmission genetics, quantitative genetics, and bioinformatics. Course Information: Same as IB 478. 3 undergraduate hours. 3 graduate hours. Prerequisite: CPSC 352 or IB 204, or consent of instructor.
