How did you choose your major?
I chose my major because it offers the perfect balance of both field and lab work, allowing me to explore a variety of interests in the realm of plant science.

What is your favorite part of being a student in the Department of Crop Sciences?
My favorite part of being a student in the Department of Crop Sciences is the research opportunities. There are so many avenues to explore, and being involved in cutting-edge projects is incredibly rewarding.

What do you do outside of the classroom?
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy running, playing video games with friends, and attending Illinois sporting events.

What are your plans after completing your undergraduate degree?
I plan to pursue graduate school and work towards completing a PhD.

What is one thing you would like others to know about the Department of Crop Sciences?
If you're interested in research, this is the place for you! Professors in the department are always looking for undergraduate students to get involved, and it’s an incredible learning experience!
